Are you anyone's favorite person?

Two types of people...
Those with stars in their eyes when being asked this question,
And those whose eyes seek a refuge from the answer.

What a thought provoking and awesomely done video it is even nicer than that weired al dude

haha,
shoot, what a a character, the second person. it is a character people call "k**n be taagh", he answers like he doesn't even care! but dude the one who doesn't care is the last one,

it was really cool, the writer have done a great job so did the actors,

god bless you, you really are, jeer the economist!

I'm not sure about the 'economist' lable, Siah jan. Jeer, the procrastinator(!) might be a better label;)

I hadn't heard of that expression you mentioned before, but the 2nd interview was kinda sad. He was most certain that he was not someone's favorite person, and he had a girlfriend he was taking oranges to...

Thanks for writing jeerjeerak jaan

it is interesting that you think the second interview was sad, however I feel it was amazing, he is so sure he is not anyones favorite and he actually doesn't care like the first one do, at the same time he cares about his girlfriend and wants to make sure she gets an orange. it's really a freedom!

I'll be following the discussion for this particular post here

thanks for posting it, it was great

Salam Jeer Jan. "Favorite" could have far reaching meanings in our lives. I have a favorite teller at the bank, and I always wait for her to take care of me. If she were asked that question, she could say: "Yes, I am some of the bank customers' favorite person." Most people can reply positively to that question if they have parents or siblings, for example. If the question is only in the context of relationships between men and women, then someone like me who isn't married or in a romantic relationship, should reply "no." But if that guy stopped me on the street and asked me the question the way he asked everyone, I would say "yes, many people." To be sure, I am my children's "favorite," as I'm the only mother they have, poor chickens! I feel surrounded by love in my life, so my examples could be many, but unfortunately for me, none of them would be of a man right now. I think most people are someone's favorite. The guy with the oranges was adorable. He is my favorite now! Thanks Jeer Jan.

Such an interesting Video. I think you know the guy who is asking the questions. He is a famous actor playing in Chicago(the musical movie). I think he is part of this group of people making hidden camera.

Hope to see you soon,

Tameshk jan, right, this is a short film with a scrips, and all the people there are actors.

and Nazy jan, my comments were more intended in the context of a romantic relationship. If you think of family relations, it's a whole different picture. Although the interviewer doesn't specify 'anyone'.

I remember the expression we had in Farsi, that someone is free of brain;) well Siah jan, if you meant that kind of freedom, i say maybe! Otherwise he's trapped in a 'sad' relationship.

thanks jeerjeerak jaan

The freedom is not defined as "being loved",

the freedom is to be free to love

and thats what the second person does

it is interesting how different people see and interpret this video, I mean every one's opinion has been so distinctive so far

It's the best post I've seen here. Again Mr. Cellophane, He's awesome. All 3 interviews were thoughtful. The second person was cool, awesome, great personality. He actually is favorite person of many (at least the interviewer and me). good job.

Banoo jan, how about this links?

i hope you can open it there.

Mr. Bayramali, do you mean the favored one, or the favoring one, who has changed his/her mind? Your comment is too complicated too!

And Habeh jan, no argument against freedom to love!
